Dunfanaghy - Back to Black & White !

If this picture is anything to go by, a traffic jam in Dunfanaghy meant a whole different thing before the turn of the 19th century. 

Since moving into the Market House, we have been interested in finding out more about the building's history and importance to the town.  We came across this old image of the Market Square and Market House and would love to find out more about it. Do you know when it was taken or who the boy is in the photo ?

We would love to get copies of this or any other old images from around the same time, so we can add them to the website. Equally if there are any interesting  stories or memories about the Market House specifically, or indeed the Dunfanaghy of old, (especially from  the mid 19th Century onwards) we would love to hear them.
