"A Treasure Trove of Retro Goodies" That's how the Irish Independent described us in a recent travel log about the wonderful Dunfanaghy. You can read the full article here http://shar.es/TckEs
'Revive' is passionate about breathing new life into old furniture. Founded in July 2013, the business combines old skills in craft, design, furniture restoration and upholstery to rediscover the beauty in old furniture. Compared to commonplace flat pack furniture which lacks both character and longevity, we believe that old furniture made with real craftsmanship only needs a little imagination and care to give it a new lease of life.
'Revive' is based in the old Market House in Market Square, Dunfanaghy which itself has been revived after many years of lying vacant.
As well as selling furniture restored and refurbished in their workshop 'Revive' also sells a variety of smaller home craft items. We will also undertake bespoke furniture refurbishment commissions on individual pieces.
We are keen to receive unwanted pieces of furniture either through house clearance sales or donations and are happy to arrange transport where necessary. Just phone, email or drop in if you have any interesting pieces of furniture you want to give a good home.
The 'Revive' team are also keen to share our passion for old furniture revival techniques by hosting introductory classes during the autumn and winter months. Watch the 'Revive' website and Twitter feed for more information.
So if you're fed up with flat pack and have a longing for furniture made with real craftsmanship and style, why not call in to 'Revive'. You are always welcome for a coffee and a browse. One thing you can be sure off is that we will always have plenty of chairs !
